Most wellness formulation still starts the same way: someone notices an ingredient trending, sources it, and builds a story around it afterward. It's fast, and it sells — but it answers the wrong first question.
At Alanine Wellness, we try to start further back. Not "what ingredient is trending," but "what are we actually trying to solve for." That single change in order re-shapes everything that follows: which ingredients are even relevant, what role each one can reasonably play, what the available research actually tells us, and what form and amount make sense.
Origin doesn't determine value
We work across Ayurvedic tradition and modern research, and we don't treat either as automatically superior. Where traditional knowledge offers something valuable, we use it. Where modern science offers stronger understanding of a mechanism or a dose, we defer to that instead. The point isn't to pick a side — it's to be honest about which kind of evidence is actually behind a given claim.
That's the gap we built Alanine Wellness to close. Liver Detox exists because gut-liver balance is a real, well-studied area — not because "detox" performs well as a keyword. Cardinine exists to support cholesterol and blood pressure management alongside — not instead of — the lifestyle changes that matter most.
What this means for you as a customer
In practice, it means our product pages will sometimes tell you what a formula can't do, or where the evidence is still developing. We think that's a better foundation for trust than a bigger claim would be. As we put it in our own standard: origin doesn't determine value — purpose, quality and evidence do.
